PPP and PFI – 1 day course
This course provides delegates with a comprehensive review of PPP and PFI structures. The course is conducted in an interactive format, with the emphasis on “learning by doing”. During the program delegates analyse real projects, working in teams to analyse and unpick risks.
Detailed case work. As part of their work on this course delegates look at real PFI and PPP deals, examining the structures, financing and risks of each.
At the end of the course delegates will understand:
- How PPP and PFI projects are structured
- “Who’s who” in the structure – who has the most say, and what the interests of each party are
- How PFI and PPP projects can run off the rails
- Strengths and weaknesses of different types of structure
- Who might lose and who might gain
- How various structures can be used and applied in real life.
The day is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive review of strengths and weaknesses of PFI and PPP projects.
